A unit is one rentable space. Its number must help your team locate it within the property or block.

Add one unit

  1. Open Units Directory → Add Single Unit.
  2. Select the target property and a block if the property uses blocks.
  3. Enter a unit code, such as A-101, and select its floor.
  4. Optionally select a unit type template. Review its rent and deposit suggestions; adjust them to your agreement.
  5. Keep the initial status VACANT for a unit awaiting a resident, then choose Save Unit.
A unit can be created without a template. Templates supply repeatable defaults; they are not lease agreements.

Use a template

In Properties & Blocks, choose Add Unit Type. Give it a name, bedrooms, bathrooms and default rent/deposit. A One Bedroom template can then be reused for multiple units. Always review the rent before activating a lease.

Generate multiple units

1

Open the generator

On Overview, choose Bulk Unit Generator and select the property, optional block and optional template.
2

Choose the sequence

Set quantity, naming pattern, start number and floor. For example, quantity 2, pattern A-{number}, start 201 and floor 2 produces A-201 and A-202.
3

Review the preview

Check every previewed code and the rent/deposit defaults. A zero override in the form uses the template default.
4

Save

Choose Generate & Save Units, then open the directory and confirm the new vacant units and floor assignments.

Edit or remove a unit

Use the row’s edit action to update its details. Occupied units cannot be deleted. End the applicable lease through the proper lease action before removing a former rental unit.
After creating units, refresh the directory once to confirm the records were saved. If a save fails, correct the displayed error and try again.
